Two passengers were confirmed dead yesterday night when an articulated lorry loaded with plywood fell off the bridge at Ojuelegba area of Lagos.
Report from the Rapid Response Squad, RRS says the incident happened around 9 p.m.
The articulated truck loaded with plywood from Apapa direction had disconnected from its head, moved back and skidded from the bridge before falling on an Honda Accord, two danfos underneath the bridge.
The wreckage of the truck, its load, the Honda Accord and two Danfos were removed from the spot yesterday night and early this morning by officials of RRS and LASEMA.
Those wounded were treated by LASAMBUS before being moved to an hospital.
