The vice chairman of Ifako Ijaiye local government council of Lagos State, Usman Hamzat is canvassing for a more integrated health care delivery system where vulnerable ones such as children and senior citizens are given priority.
Hamzat made the call at the ongoing free medical outreach at the Ifako Ijaiye mini stadium targeted at children with cerebral palsy, senior citizens with arthritis and bone related ailments.
The vice chairman of Ifako Ijaiye local government, stressed that the medical outreach which is in partnership with a medical foundation, Road Two Recovery Rehabilitation Centre deployed specialist doctors and physiotherapists to handle various cases of hundreds of patients from the area and beyond.
Usman Hamzat who is a front runner in the forthcoming local government election in Ifako Ijaiye promised to give priority to health care delivery if elected as Chairman.
