The Lagos State Government has warned against the rejection of old naira notes. A statement by the State Commissioner of Information, Gbenga Omotoso says the governor is aware of the current hardship facing the residents. Justice Sedoten Ogunsanya of the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja, on Monday sentenced a teacher, Chukwu Ndubuisi, 41, to life imprisonment for defiling a six-year-old pupil of Mind Builders School. The trial judge handed down the sentence to Ndubuisi for his act of forceful penetration on the minor.
