    18-Year-Old Sex Worker Found Dead In A State Government Guest House

    The body of an 18-year-old alleged sex worker was retrieved from a Government Guest Lodge in Damaturu, the Yobe State Capital.

    Four suspects have already been arrested by the Police over the mysterious death.

    Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Dungus Abdulkarim, said “One Dr. Al-bash Ibrahim Yahaya reported to the Police that he slept with a girl and the girl died in his room.”

    According to the police the said Dr Al-bash in his statement to the Police claimed that  he was a guest to Yobe State Government who lodged at the government guest house and requested for a woman to spend the night with, the woman was delivered as requested and had sex with her, he stated further that in the morning, he discovered the lifeless body of the girl.

    Preliminary findings according to the Police shows that the lady was under the influence of drugs.

    It also said that findings revealed that the lady was a drug addict.

    He added that “Dr Al-bash said the girl was shivering and doing some funny things. 

    All efforts by the boys that linked her with the guest to reveive her reportedly proved abortive as she was pronounced dead shortly.

    Further investigation to determine real cause of death is ongoing.
