Delta State now has a new Commissioner of Police, he is CP Mohammed Ari Ali.
He takes over from erstwhile AIG Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa, mni who was recently elevated to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police and redeployed to Zone 13.
The new police boss is from Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
CP Mohammed Ari Ali had served as a Deputy Commissioner of Police, (DC OPS) in Lagos State.
He was promoted to the rank of Commissioner of Police on 18th December 2020.
He enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force on 3rd March, 1990 and attended the elite Police Academy Kaduna.
He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Library/Political Science from the University of Maiduguri, a Master of Science in Industrial Relations from the Delta State University, Abraka and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial Relations from Irish University Business School, Penbroke Square, UK.
He is a thorough bred professional Police Officer who brings intellectualism to bear on his operational activities and believes that fighting crime is a collective effort.
He pledged to leverage on the existing security mechanism already in place towards enthroning the reign of peace and safety in Delta State.
He advised the public to always co-operate with the Police and other security agencies at all times.
CP Mohammed Ari Ali is married and blessed with children.
