Yewaland in Ogun West Senatorial district of Ogun State played host to the Yoruba right activist, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho as he arrived in Ogun State to chase herdsmen away from the state.
His visit to Abeokuta is to ensure that killer-herdsmen vacate Yorubaland.
Igboho alongside his supporters had arrived Abeokuta, the state capital, in continuation of his campaign against the rampaging herdsmen in the Southwest.
The activist who stopped for few minutes in Abeokuta headed to some trouble areas in Yewaland in Ogun West Senatorial district.
Recall that only last week, Igboho had displaced some Fulani herdsmen in Igangan, Oyo State, a development which had been greeted with mixed reactions across the country.
Speaking with journalists, Igboho insisted that Fulani herdsmen who engage in killing and kidnapping must vacate the region for peace to reign.
“We observed there is an injustice from the herdsmen because they are closed to the FG. Any Fulani herdsman who engages in kidnapping should be flushed out.
“Not only Igangan, we are going to visit all Yorubaland. I am going to Yewa because that is where the Fulani are wrecking havoc.
