    Court Remands Teacher, Stella Nwadigbo To Kirikiri For Assaulting Boy 3

    A Magistrate court sitting in Lagos has remanded a-46-year-old teacher, Stella Nwadigbo at the Kirikiri Correctional facility till February 18, 2025.

    The defendant was remanded by Magistrate Olabisi Kusanu over indecent treatment and assault of one Abayomi Michael, a 3 year-old pupil pending perfection of bail.

    The suspect was arraigned by the Police on a two count charge offence bordering on indecent dealing and assault of a child, statement by Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin.

    She was however granted bail in the sum of 200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
    Sureties must be gainfully employed.

    When the case was called in court on Thursday, the prosecutor, Supol Raji Akeem, told the court, “That you, Nwadigbo Stella ‘f, on the 7™ day of January, 2025, at 1100hours being a teacher at Christ Mitot School Ikorodu-Lagos in the Lagos Magisterial District, did indecently dealt with one Abayorn Michael ‘m’ 3years old pupil in your class by giving him injury on his face and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 135 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015

    “That you Nwadigbo Stella ‘f on the 7 day of January 2025. at about 1100hours at Christ Mitot School Ikorodu-Lagos, the Lagos Magisterial District did assault one Abayorr Michael ‘m aged 3years by giving him fist blows consistently on his face, which cause him injury and swollen face and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 172 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”

    Recall that she was reportedly caught in a viral video assaulting a-three-year old pupil, Micheal Abayomi, a student of Christ Mitot School Ikorodu-Lagos.
