There is no doubt that love is still possible between the Police and civilians, and this assumption is already being proved with the union of Mr. Ugege Godwin Omon, a police inspector and Loveline Chinonyerem Ofon, a civilian who tied the nuptial knot post EndSARS protests on Thursday.
The Police Orderly attached to Justice Hakeem Oshodi of Lagos State Judiciary, has formally wedded his lover, at the Ikeja Local Government Marriage Registry.
The statutory marriage was followed by a reception ceremony at the Nigerian Bar Association Hall, Ikeja Branch, Lagos.
The reception was made colourful by displays presented by Guards of Honour in celebration of the couple.
Relatives and well-wishers graced the occasion but a few guests were allowed into the wedding venue in compliance of COVID-19 protocols.
The couple radiated joy as they both expressed their feelings this way: “Love is not all about finding the right one, but creating the right relationship, not about how much I love you but how much you hold on till the end.”
