A concern Delta, Moses Oddiri has thereatened a legal action against the Government and Governor Of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa over the return of £4.2m Ibori Loot recently returned to the State.
The Federal government went back on its word that the money would be expended on specific project and the Accountant General of the Federation revealed on Tuesday that the money has been returned to Delta State.
Feeling disappointed over this, Moses Oddiri want a clear cut direction from the State Government on how the money would be utilized.
It would be recalled that Oddiri in the past had had a long battle with James Ibori who as the Governor of Delta Sate was accused of sundry things.
Among them are the alleged bribery of the Supreme Court justices to rule in favour of Ibori over theft allegations.
Of course the after effect was the turn of the table against Oddiri who had cases against him before the Disciplinary committee.
This affected his legal practice
expressing the disappointment about the returned of the loot.
Oddiri threatens that within seven days from now, the matter would shift to court.
Below is the full statement he pasted on his Facebook page.

Dear Governor Okowa..
I read like many others on line that the accountant General Of The Federation transferred the over four million pounds Ibori loot recovered recently in Britain back to the coffers of the Delta State Government..
This development has been extremely shocking in the light of previous assurances by the federal authorities that the funds will be used for specified projects supervised by both the British and Federal Authorities..
Deltans familiar with the strangulating hold of Ibori and his agents over the lives and resources of the people of Delta state since 1999 are aware of Ibori’s relationship with you and the circumstances he elevated you from quasi obscurity and penury into wealth, fame and power..Considering the said familiarity, and circumstances of your ascension into office, it is clear that though on paper the funds have been returned to delta state government, the reality is that the funds have been returned back to Ibori and or substantial part of it and in apparent collusion with federal authorities despite initial repeated assurances to the contrary..
You have a duty to reassure deltans transparently that this has not happened and the first step is to set up a committee made up of credible deltans with representatives from all the political parties to manage and utilize these funds in a manner that will be transparent and open for the benefit of deltans..
Knowing your antecedents, You will definitely not do this and will treat this appeal as mere suggestions but I and several other voiceless deltans wont treat this advise as mere suggestions..
The consolation has been that the bulk of Ibori stolen funds are still with the British authorities and the federal authorities have shown by this despicable act of returning the funds to the Delta state Treasury that they can not be trusted to receive further looted funds from the British who are unaware of the Master/ servant relationship between you and Ibori and his suffocating hold over the resources of deltans and the lives of deltans since over two decades..
A lack of knowledge that may have led to the return of the stolen funds back to ibori despite exhausting tax payers funds in Britain to recover the said loot and the return of same to the federal authorities and now within reach of Ibori and or back to Ibori..
If in the next fourteen days you do not take open and transparent steps to reassure deltans that these funds will be transparently used and managed, we will take further legal steps to preserve the safety of the balance ibori looted funds still with the British authorities..
A Word Is Enough For The Wise..
Yours Faithfully,Moses Oddiri Esq, On Behalf OfConcerned Deltans..
