Pending the outcome of police investigation into the allegation of sex by CSP Adegoke Atilade, a Divisional Police Officer with a lady, Jenifer Madueke, the embattled police officer at the Denton Police Division has been redeployed with immediate effect, to pave way for diligent and unbiased investigation.
This information is according to the Lagos State Police Command Police Spokesperson, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu on Friday in a statement made available to journalists.
The course of action taken by the Police boss following a newspaper publication against the officer who claimed the visit of a former friend led to his missing gun and some money prompted the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu to order an independent, thorough and unbiased investigation into the case.
Reacting, CP Odumosu assured the public that appropriate actions will be taken against any one found culpable at the conclusion of the ongoing investigation such that at the end, justice would have been served.
