Yoruba actor, Babatunde Omidina popularly called Baba Suwe is dead, CASEFILE has learnt.
Posting the sad news on his Instagram page, Yomi Fabiyi (realyomifabiyi), a Yoruba actor wrote: Rip baba Siwe
Information gathered also revealed that the comedian passed on Monday after a long battle with an illness.
He was born 22nd August, 1958, and was married to comedienne Omoladun Omidina, who died in September 2009.
Baba Suwe dominated the Yoruba movie industry for decades, featured in several movies and bagged many awards.
