This is certainly not the best of times for terrorists disturbing the peace of Nigeria and Nigerians as the troops are dealing a severe and fatal blow on them.
According to a statement on the official page of the Nigerian Defence Headquarters, troops of the Operation Desert Sanity have destroyed some camps of terrorists inside Sambisa Forest in Borno State.
According to the Nigerian Army, the camps were located around Ukuba and Camp Zairo area inside the forest.
It was reported that several terrorists died during the operation while weapons and equipment were recovered.
