The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has formally declared his intention to succeed his boss, Muhammadu Buhari as the President of Nigeria.
In the past few months several groups have been canvassing for the involvement of the VP in the forthcoming Presidential race.
He neither denied or admitted the groups were working for him.
But in the early hour of Monday April 11, 2023, a video of his declaration was released.
He highlighted his involvement in governance for the past seven years and said he is humbly seeking Nigerians approval to be the next president.
