The Capital Market Solicitors Association, CMSA, has announced the names of sponsors for its 2022 Annual Business Luncheon coming up in Lagos.

The list released by the CMSA shows that Templars Law Firm and Duale, Ovia & Alex-Adedipe are the Headline sponsors of the luncheon scheduled to hold on Thursday, 23 June, 2022 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Other categories of sponsorship are Platinum and Gold. Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie, Pentagon Partners, Wigwe & Partners, and Aluko & Oyebode fall into the Platinum sponsors category, while Alliance Law Firm, Parthian Partners, NASD Plc, Berkeley Legal, Punuka Attorneys and Solicitors, and Odujinrin & Adefulu are Gold sponsors.
The CMSA 2022 Business Luncheon, themed: “Capital Market, Startup Financing and Syndicate Funding: Ability of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises to Access the Capital Market,” will discuss how SMEs in Nigeria can access funding through the capital market in order to optimally perform their role as catalysts to economic development.
The CEO of Nigerian Exchange Limited, Temi Popoola, will be the Keynote Speaker at the luncheon, while the President of Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Olumide Akpata, will give the opening remarks.
Other speakers include Adeleke Alex-Adedipe, Partner, DOA and Chairman, Conference Planning Committee, CMSA, and Chike Obianwu, Partner, Templars and Chairman, CMSA.
The business luncheon will feature a fireside chat, where Tomiwa Aladekomo, CEO, Big Cabal Limited, will be interviewing Jumoke Olaniyan, Senior Vice President, FMDQ Exchange, on the topic “SMEs & Capital Raising: Options & Current Obstacles”.
It will also feature a panel session on “Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises: Access to the Capital Market.” To be moderated by Vincent Iweze, Partner, Pentagon Partners and Vice Chairman, CMSA, the session will have as panelists Toyin Sanni, Founder and CEO, Emerging Africa Group; Gbadebo Adenrele, Head, Investment Banking Division, Vetiva Capital Management Limited; Funso Akere, Chief Executive, Stanbic IBTC Capital; and Olu Oyinsan, Managing Partner, Oui Capital.
