Young lawyers interested in securing a sponsorship to participate in the forthcoming Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference, NBAAGC, now have the chance through a contest being put together by the association.

The contest, tagged: The Bold Pitch, requires interested young lawyers to send in a script and video of themselves expressing their idea of the theme of the 2022 Annual General Conference.

The conference, now in its 62nd edition, will take place from August 19th to 26th, 2022 at the Eko Atlantic City in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial hub.

Announcing the contest on Wednesday, the NBA said submissions for the pitch will close on August 14th, 2022.

“To get conference sponsorship, send in your best expression of the 2022 theme ‘Bold Transitions’ in a 250-word script accompanied with a video of you voicing these expressions and why you think your pitch should be our ‘Bold Choice & Transition Video’ for the 2022 AGC,” the NBA said.

It asked interested young lawyers to kindly submit their pitches detailing their name, e-mail address, phone number, and NBA branch, with the tag ‘The Bold Pitch’.

“Your transition video should capture notable changes in the bar within the last two years and what you hope can be sustained in the coming years,” the NBA said.

It advised participants to create their video dressed in formal business attire, adding that the video should not exceed one minute while the 250-word script should be saved as a pdf document.

It further asked interested young lawyers to send their entries to [email protected] or contact Suzie on +2348035488857 or Val on +2347087830637 for further enquiries.

“The winning pitch will be a prominent feature at the 2022 conference,” the NBA said.
