The Peoples Democratic Party has suspended a former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim of Ebonyi State, Professor Dennis Itvavyar of Benue State and Dem Salami Aliyu of Zamfara State.
The National Working Committee, NWC, of the PDP took the decision after a review of the affairs of the Party and pursuant to the provisions of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017)
The organ however referred the Governor of Benue State, Dr. Samuel Ortom to the National Disciplinary Committee over his reported involvement in anti-party activities.
This is contained in a statement signed by Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary of the party.
