Two children, Chigozie Okonkwo and Bright Okonkwo, aged 10 and nine years old respectively have been rescued at the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.
The kids, found on Friday evening.by operatives of Rapid Response Squad, RRS, unaccompanied, while the officers were on routine monitoring on the bridge
They were said to have been abandoned on the bridge by their mother.
Commander, RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi has directed that the children be immediately transferred to Adekunle Police station, Yaba, where investigation has commenced on the matter.
