Youths in Lagos State have been urged by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat to embrace education that will help them to be creative and find solutions to societal problems.
Speaking at the International Youth Day Conference held recently at Regency Hall, Alausa, Ikeja, Dr. Hamzat implored the youths to employ technology to improve themselves in whatever fields of human endeavour they find themselves in life.
He said, “Study the right thing with the aid of technology that will make your work more effective and efficient. Nigerian professors are among the best in the world. The challenge we have is we have not been able to realise the importance of intellectual property that comes through bringing into existence an idea that proffers solution to problem affecting us. As youths, you can get this information by reading good books and watching videos on YouTube that will equip you with this knowledge”.

Abiodun Orekoya in his goodwill message urged the youths to use the social media to develop themselves by being creative, innovative and acquiring entrepreneurial skills, adding that Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, LSETF, was set up to support them in actualising their dreams.
