The decision to relieve Buba Galadima followed a restructuring process aimed at aligning the institution with the administration’s Kano First Agenda.
Although the tenure of the Governing Council is for a period of three years, the appointment of the Chairman was terminated before expiration due to ongoing reforms designed to ensure optimal performance of the Polytechnic.
Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to Galadima for the services he rendered to the institution during his tenure as Chairman of the Governing Council.
The Governor urged the newly appointed Chairman, the Emir of Gaya, to bring his wealth of experience, leadership, and commitment to bear in repositioning Kano State Polytechnic for greater academic and administrative excellence.
