The Ogun State Command has transferred Abigeal Nsikak, popularly known as Mirabel on TikTok to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development for welfare support.
This development was disclosed by Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, on Wednesday.
According to the Command’s Spokesperson Mirabel has been taken to a medical facility for necessary examination to verify her online claims regarding the alleged rape.
Women Affairs Ministry to provide welfare support
In his words, “In consideration of her welfare and support needs, she has been released to the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development. The Ministry has undertaken responsibility for her care and has assured the Command that she will be made available whenever required as investigations continue.”
Police further stated that she has continued to cooperate with investigators as due process progresses, underscoring the Command’s commitment to professionalism and diligence in handling the matter.
Police authorities emphasised that the investigation remains active, with all necessary procedures being followed to ensure a thorough and fair outcome.
