Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested three suspected robbers in the Idimu area of the state, recovering a Bajaj motorcycle and other items suspected to have been used in criminal activities.

The suspects; Abdullahi Mustapha, 20; Salisu Sannusi, 30; and Jamiu Sahidu, 26, were arrested while riding on a motorcycle near Car Wash Bus Stop, by First Bank in Idimu.
They were intercepted during a routine patrol by police officers.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP. Abimbola Adebisi, a search conducted on the suspects led to the recovery of a machete concealed in their clothing, an army camouflage uniform, four mobile phones, a power bank suspected to have been stolen, some squeezed naira notes, and a Bajaj motorcycle with registration number AKD 40 OM.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects had allegedly been involved in robbing unsuspecting members of the public before fleeing scenes of their operations using the motorcycle.
The suspects are currently in police custody as investigations continue, with efforts underway to ensure they are prosecuted accordingly.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to protecting lives and property across the state.
