The financial institution also launched Money Adventures, a financial literacy book targeted at children aged six and above.

The publication is designed to simplify conversations around saving, money management and responsible financial habits for young readers in an engaging and age-appropriate format.

According to the bank, copies of the book will be made available to children with active or newly activated Royal Kiddies accounts.

Evolve School Tour STEM Challenge (ALAT Xplore Account Holders)

For teenagers, the bank unveiled the Evolve School Tour STEM Challenge through its ALAT Xplore platform. The programme, targeted at secondary school students aged 13 to 17, will run across six schools nationwide with established STEM programmes.

The initiative will feature practical STEM competitions, school engagements and financial literacy sessions aimed at promoting innovation, technology awareness and responsible savings culture among students. Winners will also receive monetary prizes.

To participate, students must be ALAT Xplore customers within the specified age bracket and enrolled in participating schools.

Wema Bank noted that over the last four years, it has consistently transformed Children’s Day celebrations into platforms for leadership development, educational support and financial literacy campaigns for children.

The bank added that this year’s programme marks its most comprehensive Children’s Day package yet, being the first to run for an entire year while combining academic rewards, financial education resources and nationwide school engagement initiatives.

According to the bank, the initiatives are designed to create lasting impact on children beyond the annual celebration and reinforce the institution’s commitment to supporting the next generation of Nigerian leaders.
