A former staff of Keystone Bank Limited, Ebele Bernardine Okpala has been charged to court for alleged involvement in over N35,000,000.00 credit facility fraud. The 43-year-old suspect was charged by the Legal Section of Police Special Fraud Unit, PSFU, over a 4-count charge before the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos. The Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Investigation, DIG Sylvester Abiodun Alabi, has disclosed that the Police cyber security centre was established in response to the increased crime rates in the country and the necessity to protect Nigeria from the embarrassment caused by internet fraudsters and identity thieves. The Police have arrested a crypto billionaire Linus Williams, a.k.a Blord on Tuesday. The Force Public Relations, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi disclosed the suspect’s arrest.
