He has been placed under arrest  the Command Spokesperson, SP. The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, PSC, Solomon Arase says Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, must be prosecuted over an assault on a police officer in Lagos State. The singer was captured on a viral video slapping a uniformed policeman. In a statement on Sunday, the spokesman of PSC, Ikechukwu Ani, said the commission and Arase condemn the action while commending the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali-Baba for his directive. Police in Ogun State on May 10, 2023, arrested four staffs of ZEFA Microfinance Bank, situated at Abule Ijoko Lemode area of Ifo local government area in Ogun have been arrested for allegedly causing the death of a debtor’s wife, Vivain Omo. Two men in their late 40’s have been arrested for ingesting and excreting 193 pellets of illicit drug, called Cocaine. The duo, Ebere Onoh 49, and Christian Ifeanyi Ogbuji, 47, were intercepted at the Abuja airport on Wednesday, May 10 upon their arrival from Uganda via Addis Ababa, onboard Ethiopian Airlines flight ET 951.
