Precious Ojo has been arrested by the Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for alleged $268,000 fraud. He was arrested by the Benin Zonal Command of the Commission. Twenty-six year old Precious also known as Obago was picked up in Oghara, Delta State. Despite his ingenuity to evade arrest by the operatives of the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Owoseni Gabriel, who posed as a woman was arrested alongside 32 others for their alleged involvement in computer-related fraud. Reprieve came the way of 45 broadcast stations on Wednesday when the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, gave an order of perpetual injunction restraining the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, from imposing fines on broadcast stations in the country. The order was granted by Justice James Omotosho as the court set aside the N500,000 fines imposed on 1st March 2019 on each of the 45 broadcast stations. Vigilantes in Kogi State have rescued 134 victims who were abducted from various parts of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
