It was a large seizure for the National For Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, as it intercepted no fewer than Two Million Seven Hundred and Fifty (2,750,000) tablets of Tramadol 225mg weighing 1,650 kilograms worth One Billion Three Hundred and Seventy Five Million Naira (N1,375, 000,000) at the Apapa port. One Opoola Mujidat, a-27-year-old woman and three men have been convicted by a Federal High Court, Lagos for trafficking banned substances. This is the judgement of Justice Daniel Osiagor. They were however given fine options of N20,000; N250,000 and N100,000 respectively, in lieu of the jail terms.
