One passenger has been confirmed dead when a passenger boat named “TEMI 3 Global” from Lagos Island sailing to Ikorodu capsized around Adekunle Jetty with 17 passengers on Monday. According to National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Zonal Coordinator South West, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, 16 persons were rescued while one was found dead. The Northern Governors are set for a battle with their counterparts from the South over the zoning of Presidency to the South. This forms part of their resolution on Monday, September 27 over the controversial zoning argument and collection of Value Added Tax, VAT, by the State.
