Funke Busari Report says the the Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru, was killed in a plane crash while leaving at the Kaduna International Airport.   The incident was said to have occurred at about 6:00 p.m while it was raining heavily. Governor Ayade announced his decision at the Executive Council chambers of the Governor’s office in Calabar. Cosmas Mbamara, Okafor George Chisomo, 35 years old, and Nwankwo Levi, 35 years were among those who escaped during a jail break at Correctional Centre, in Owerri on 5th April, 2021.
