With effect from Monday March 23, 2020 courts in Lagos State will not allow members of the general public into the court premises except for those whose cases are to be heard and their witnesses and counsel. Jimoh Fathia Retired staff of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, on Thursday lamented the non-payment of about 15 months pension arrears by the federal government. The pensioners stormed the Ogun state secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta describing the situation as worrisome. Defence and security reporters have been challenged to deploy investigative journalism skills in their effort to make the defence sector a lot more transparent and accountable in Nigeria. Lagos State Government on Thursday disclosed that four new persons have tested positive to the deadly Coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the state to 11. This means that over 12 people have been infected with the deadly disease in the country.
