Sex is threatening the home of a couple in Ibadan the Oyo State Capital as a wife, Olamide Lawal is pleading with the Magistrate Court in Mapo Area, Ibadan, to dissolve the marriage between her and Saheed Lawal over too much sex.

According to her, the husband is always coming home drunk and not showing enough care for the family.

She said they have been married for 14 years now.

She said, “He devotes his time to beer consumption, beating and forcing me to have sex with him. He does not provide for my children. She said she can no longer cope with his attitude.”

She further pleaded with the court to restrain her husband from calling her mobile phone or visiting her apartment.

Responding, the husband prayed the court to pacify his wife to remain with him. He told the court that he is now remorseful and ready to turn a new leaf.

The President of the Court, S.M. Akintayo, who adjourned the matter until March 1, 2022 for judgement, advised the couple to maintain peace.
