AIG Disu’s three-decade career encompasses frontline operational commands: Rapid Response Squad, Intelligence Response Team, and Commissioner of Police in Rivers State and the Federal Capital Territory. These postings placed him at the core of counter-insurgency operations, armed robbery suppression, and intelligence-driven policing.

CRAN expects that AIG Disu’s experience in high-threat environments will translate into strengthened forensic capacity, streamlined case management, and improved inter-agency synergy at the FCID Annex. His track record offers a replicable model for integrating tactical intelligence into investigative procedures.

The Association is confident that he will consolidate the FCID’s existing gains while introducing targeted innovations to enhance its forensic capabilities, digital evidence handling, and overall investigative turnaround time, critical components in a modern crime-fighting architecture.

The Association commends the Inspector General of Police for this strategic deployment, particularly at a time when the nation contends with evolving security threats that demand seasoned investigative command.

AIG Disu assumes leadership with a clear mandate to align the Annex’s operations with national security priorities.

AIG Disu has affirmed his commitment to integrity, transparency, and professional conduct. CRAN believes this ethical posture will reinforce public trust in the FCID and elevate compliance with rule of law standards across its investigative value chain.

CRAN urges sustained collaboration among law enforcement agencies, the judiciary, civil society, and citizens as a prerequisite for dismantling criminal networks and ensuring swift criminal justice delivery. Collective security responsibility remains the bedrock of sustainable public safety.

As AIG Disu settles into this command, CRAN pledges constructive, solutions-focused engagement with the FCID Annex.

The Association will support initiatives that advance investigative excellence, operational accountability, and intelligence-led policing in Lagos and beyond.
