Nigeria has dropped by five places in the ranking of corruption perceptions index, compared to the year 2020, according to Transparency International, TI. The 2021 ranking released on Tuesday disclosed that the country scored 24 out of 100 points; ranking 154 out of 180 countries. Report reaching CASEFILE said no fewer than two persons have been reportedly shot dead in an attack by some men suspected to be terrorists at Okeluse Community in the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State on Sunday evening.
