The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos has ruled that Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim be granted time to file his appeal within 14 days. Ibrahim had brought before the court an application for extension of time to file his appeal. The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, has asked the government of President Muhammadu Buhari to obey all the judgements the organisation secured against it with immediate effect. It also added that the Federal Government to take steps to raise money to fund the budget, reduce the growing level of borrowing, and address the escalating rule of law crisis in the country. The Lagos State Police Command has said that three out of five students of the Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos over their alleged involvement in the death of Sylvester Oromoni Junior, a 12-year-old student of the college are in its custody.
