Two sisters, Maryam Muhammad Jallo and Rukaiya Muhammad Jallo will have to spend 10 years behind the bars of prison after being convicted and sentenced on Tuesday over offences that border on criminal breach of trust and fraud. The Federal Government of Nigeria has written a protest letter to the CNN over its latest report on the EndSARS protests with particular on the shootings at the Lekki Toll Gate. A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the remand of Senator Ali Ndume at Kuje Correctional Centre for failing to produce the former chairman of the defunct pension reform task team, Mr. Abdulrasheed Maina who is said to have jumped bail. In a bench ruling delivered by Justice Okon Abang, the court ordered his remand pending the fulfillment of his bail bond which is a forfeiture of five hundred million naira to the Federal government.
