Two sisters, Maryam Muhammad Jallo and Rukaiya Muhammad Jallo will have to spend 10 years behind the bars of prison  after being convicted and sentenced on Tuesday over offences that border on criminal breach of trust and fraud. This is the judgement by Justice Muhammad Tukur of a State High Court in Kaduna. The Federal Government of Nigeria has written a protest letter to the CNN over its latest report on the EndSARS protests with particular on the shootings at the Lekki Toll Gate. In a letter signed by the Minister of Information Lai Mohammed, the Federal Government accused the CNN of bias, unverified and one sided report. It also reminded the broadcast station of its earlier unprofessional reportage of event in Nigeria in the past. A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the remand of Senator Ali Ndume at Kuje Correctional Centre for failing to produce the former chairman of the defunct pension reform task team, Mr. Abdulrasheed Maina who is said to have jumped bail. In a bench ruling delivered by Justice Okon Abang, the court ordered his remand pending the fulfillment of his bail bond which is a forfeiture of five hundred million naira to the Federal government.
