Two men, Chukwuka Odinaka and Ikechukwu Eze have been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for sexual assault of a-16-year old boy (names withheld). Justice Rahman Oshodi of Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court, Ikeja, convicted both men for a two-count charge of indecent treatment and sexual assault on Wednesday.  The trial judge convicted and sentenced the duo after they pleaded guilty to an amended two-count charge brought against them by the Lagos State Government. Abubakar Sani, has pleaded guilty to a theft offence pressed against him and has been sentenced to one year imprisonment for an alleged theft and illegal transfer of monies from Lotus Bank due to a technical glitch in Lagos. This followed his arraignment on an amended information dated April 30, 2025, before the court.
