The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON, says it has recovered over N2.1trillion debts just as it reaffirmed its commitment to recover the N227.6billion owed by Arik Air Limited (in Receivership) and its founder, Sir Johnson Arumemi-Ikhide, amid ongoing legal battles and allegations of mismanagement. A man, Elistan Kumagbo has been sent to life imprisonment for defiling two sisters, aged 8 and 4.  He was sentenced by a Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court on Wednesday. Justice Rahman Oshodi sentenced him after the Prosecution had sufficiently proven the charge of defilement and sexual assault by penetration beyond reasonable doubt.
