The House of Representatives, on Tuesday, directed the Ministry of Sports to postpone the National Sports Festival scheduled to begin in Edo State, next week.
The House said this is necessary as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Coronavirus, which is currently ravaging several parts of the world.
Their resolution is coming hours after the Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare has also announced theĀ need for the federal government to postpone the festival.
