Breaking News: Senator Buruju Kasamu Dies Of COVID-19 Complications

A senator who represented Ijebu-East Senatorial District in the last Senate, Buruji Kashamu is dead.

He died of COVID-19 complications at the First Cardiologist Hospital in Lagos.

Report says the Senator had recovered from COVID-19 but his conditions grew worse due to some underlying ailment.

He was rushed to the First Cardiologist hospital in Lagos.

The chairman of SILVERBIRD group , Senator Ben Murray-Bruce who was his colleague at the Eight Assembly confirmed the sad news on his Twitter page.

Senator Ben Bruce‪ – I have just lost my good friend of forever to #COVID19. Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable. He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I pray his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.‬
