Late Senator who represented Ogun East Senatorial District, Buruji Kashamu actually made peace with his arch business and political rival Adebutu Kessington also know as Baba Ijebu before his death.
In a viral video that lasted over six minutes, Kashamu begged Baba Ijebu to forgive him of whatever shortcomings and promised to work with him to support Ladi Adebutu, Baba Ijebu’s son as the next Governor of Ogun State.
He prayed for Baba Ijebu and vowed to withdraw all cases against the interest of Baba Ijebu from court.
Baba Ijebu in his response said if he is truly sincere he should withdraw the cases while adding that it is only God that has the prerogative of forgiveness.
