It sounds weird and unbelievable, but it happened live in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, a businessman is now in Police custody for reportedly eating faeces with bread.

He was however lucky to have been rescud by the timely intervention of Police officers which rescued him from being lynched by a gathering mob.

The man Emmwnuel Egbu who is said to have a thriving cosmetics shop at the Sango area of Ibadan, Oyo State capital, was caught by some persons around 12 noon on Saturday eating the faeces and bread.

When asked his reason, he said he chose to do so.

The Police were said to be working on the premise that eating human excreta is the hallmark of internet fraudsters and money rituals with cyber fraud.

Those who caught him with the weird food combination were said to have raised the alarm, which attracted a huge crowd. The trader is said to have bought a house and rebuilt it around the same area.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi, when contacted said that Egbu was in Police custody.

He said the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Sango Police Station had begun investigation into the incident.
