    Lagos Police Boss Hakeem Odumosu Rolls Out New Security Strategies

    For residents of Lagos State, this may be the time for them to sleep with their two eyes closed if the promise of the Police boss in the State, Hakeem Odumosu is anything to go by.

    According to the Commissioner of Police, the Lagos State Police Command is poised for better policing of the State.

    He assured the residents that the Command is embracing plans which includes relevant ideologies that will promote robust intelligence-led and effective policing of Lagos State. 

    The Commissioner of Police said this on Wednesday during a visit by the Zonal Manager, Nigerian Postal Service, Lagos Zone, Dr. Mike Umo, when he said it has set in motion mechanisms to harness all available resources to solidify policing structure in Lagos State.

    The Zonal Manager NIPOST, who was accompanied by his team, including the Deputy Zonal Manager, Corporate Communications, Mrs. Bolanle Ekeogu, introduced NIPOST’s plans and facilities that will assist police in intelligence gathering and crime fighting within and beyond the state.

    While assuring the zonal manager NIPOST and his entourage of adequate security of their facilities across the 13 districts of NIPOST in Lagos, CP Odumosu, promised to embrace any of their plans and other relevant ideologies that will promote robust intelligence-led and effective policing of Lagos State. 

    The Police boss also had a private meeting with the 14 Area Commanders in Lagos State to brainstorm on the security network of the state, a statement by the Command’s Spokeperson, SP. Olumuyiwa Adejobi stated.
