The crisis generated by increase in tuition fee by Lagos State University, LASU, may have been laid to rest, going by a disclosure on Friday via the Twitter handle of the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education.
The news now is that the Lagos State Government has reduced the tuition fee for students of the citadel of learning
Recall that students of LASU, had staged protest on January 8 over alleged 168 per cent hike in school fees by the institution.
A development the scholars described as outrageous increment.
The students body threatened more massive action if the fees is not reduced.
