Failure To Wear Face Mask Attracts 6 Months Jail Term In Lagos

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has made it mandatory for residents to wear face masks or face six months jail term in line with the COVID-19 Health Protection Regulations, 2021 signed by President Muhammadu Buhari last week.

According to a statement from the state governor, Lagos remains the epicentre of the virus necessitating more stringent actions to curb the spread.
