    Man Who Allegedly Looted Motorcycle From Police Station During EndSARS Protests Arrested

    The Police in Lagos have arrested a-32-year old man, Yusuf Saliu over one of the suspected stolen motorcycles from the Dalemo Police Post during the October 2020 violent EndSARS protest in the State.

    Saliu was apprehended by operatives attached to Mushin Division of the Lagos State Police Command on 22nd March, 2021 at about 9.30pm, based on an intelligence report.

    He was said to be one of the suspects involved in the vandalization of the Daleko Police Post during the October 2020 violent EndSARS protest.

    Lagos State Police Command Spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi who disclosed the arrest to journalists on Thursday, said the suspect was arrested on Monday while  he was riding the said bike with Reg No. APP 476 Q.

    Adejobi said the bike has been recovered and the matter has been transferred to the Special Squad for further investigation on the order of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu. 

    The Police boss has however reiterated the command’s readiness to work with the members of the public on sharing of useful information and exchange of ideas that will assist the command in combating crimes and criminality in Lagos State.
