Yinka Odumakin, Pro-Democracy Activist Is Dead

Pro-democracy activist and National Publicity Secretary of Yoruba socio-political organisation Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin is dead.

This is according to his wife, Dr. Joe Okei Odumakin on Saturday.

The Yoruba activist died at the COVID Isolation Centre of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH.

 The death was confirmed by his wife, Dr. Joe Odumakin, founder,  Women Arise.

Prior to his death, Odumakin was for a long time, a patient of diabetes.

Report however has it that he had suffered from compications arising from COVID-19 complications.

The late Odumakin was the founder of Petal Fm Radio in Ibadan, Oyo State regarded as one of biggest radio stations in Ibadan.
