Another Nollywood Actor Ken Godfrey Achionye is in need of help from kind spirited Nigerians to save him from early death.

Ken is an Imo born actor based in Lagos and a member of the Nigerian Guild of Actors.

His sickness has put him away from public sphere for long and may finally take him away if nothing is done to help him.

He is reported down with a stroke as at the moment and is unable to put up his medical bill.

A Facebook post by one Ijeoma Dora Daniel is sending an SOS message to Nigerians soliciting for help for the ailing actor.

According to the post a concern Nigerian  by the name Shima Maclean drew her attention to the plight of the actor and gave the wife contact for further clarification.

Mrs. Ugochi Achionye, the actor’s wife reportedly confirmed the status of her husband and equally restated the appeal for help.

According to the information, Achionye took ill about three years ago. He started treating himself medically until his health degenerated to the point of stroke. This was because he could no longer afford the cost of medication.

Below is the full text of the SOS message
    LET’S SAVE THIS ACTOR
Yours Sincerely got a distress call from a concerned Nigerian. He is a young man with name Shina Maclean. The call came in the evening of Monday July 20, 2021.
He appealed for my assistance saying, “Oga, please help, one actor living in my area is down with stroke for about two years.
“I am from Ondo State. He is from Imo State. .
“I have been following you for years right from your days at Complete Sports. Kindly help this man. Don’t let him die. Please help him. God bless you sir”
I asked for the sick man’s phone number. He gave me that of his wife. I spoke with her and below is my report.
Ken Godfrey Achionye is an actor and a member of Actors Guild of Nigeria. He hails from Isiala Mbano in Imo State.
Hae resides on No 8 Oyegunle Street by Alakoto Street near Wilmer in Olodi Apapa Area of Lagos.
He is married to Mrs. Ugochi Achionye. They both have four children. He has been acting since 2000 and has over 60 movies to his credit. He is 57 years old.
Achionye took ill about three years ago. He started treating himself medically until his health degenerated to the point of stroke. This was because he could no longer afford the cost of medication.
He was taken home (Isiala-Mbano) for traditional cure but his health went from bad to worse. He had to be returned to Lagos.
Since then he has been living and surviving by handouts from neighbours and friends.
His wife says, “I am crying for help from well meaning Nigerians to come to my husband’s aid. Feeding has been a problem and he could not continue with his medication. The situation is very pathetic and I am scared.
“I don’t want to lose my husband. He used to attend the Actors Guild of Nigeria meetings at O’Jayz Restaurant inside the National Stadium Surulere, years ago before he took ill.
“But no one is coming around to help him now. Please Nigerians, help me, help my family. Save my husband.”
The wife forwarded this account details to Yours Sincerely for help from kind hearted Nigerians…
