Senator Theodore Orji, who is a former Governor of Abia State has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Report reaching CASEFILE says the former Governor was arrested alongside his son Chinedu who is the current Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly.
The report of their arrest was confirmed by the EFCC’s Spokesperson, Wilson Uwajaren.
Details of their offences are still sketchy, but we will give you the updates as soon as we have them.
Senator Orji was earlier arrested when he was an aide of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for alleged financial related offences.
He won the governorship election for the State after Orji Uzor Kalu and was sworn-in before the expiration of Orji’s tenure.
For 8 years he ruled Abia State and therefater won another election to represent his district at the National Assembly.
