Wife of the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd.) is dead.
Chief Mrs. Zainab Marwa who was the first wife to the anti-drug Czar died on Saturday 8th January at the age of 66 after a brief illness.
A statement by the family said the deceased is survived by four children who are Abubakar, Mohamed Jr., Mariam and Zainab.
She was also survived by 10 grand-children, her husband, her siblings and aged mother.
Chief Mrs. Zainab Marwa was at the vanguard of the cause of women and the girl child during her lifetime.
Burial arrangement will be announced at a later date by the family, according to a statement by the family.
