More details are beginning to emerge about the circumstances surrounding the death of a former Governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala.
The former police officer who retired as the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Logistics and Supply, Oyo State Police Command was reported to have died on Wednesday morning in his sleep on January 12, 2022.
Source close to the family says the 71-year old politician was discovered dead when some family members entered his room in the morning.
