    SUV Driver Goes Beserk, Kills One Person, Injures Others At Amje Area Of Lagos

    There was pandemonium on Sunday around Amje, Ajegunle Alagbado area of Lagos State when the driver of a Toyota Highlander SUV rammed into some persons, killing one Simisola Abedoye, a female.

    Five persons were also critically injured in the accident and have been rushed to the General Hospital, Ota, Ogun State where they are currently receiving medical treatment.

    CASEFILE gathered that one Akinola Sulaimon was driving the vehicle with Registration Number BDG 654 DC from Toll gate axis towards Kola bus stop along the Abeokuta-Lagos Expressway before he was said to have rammed into some shops at Amje bus stop, Ajegunle, Alagbado area of Lagos.

    The accident occurred at about 3:00p.m at Amje bus stop, Ajegunle, Alagbado area of the State.

    The Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi says the driver has been arrested while the body of the deceased has been deposited at the General Hospital, Ota, Ogun State morgue for autopsy.

    The Police Spokesperson CSP. Adekunle Ajisebutu said that CP Alabi has directed that a speedy but thorough investigation into the accident should be carried out, even as the police boss expresses condolence to the bereaved family of the deceased.
